Ministers urged to put catchment partnerships at heart of new environment plan
Environmental experts have called for catchment partnerships to be boosted as part of the government’s new 25-year environment plan.
The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) has today called on ministers to give more powers and resources to the 100-plus catchment partnerships, which currently exist across England.

An independent commission has called on Sadiq Khan to reduce car use in London in order to help tackle both pollution and congestion across the capital.
A report published by the Commission on the Future of London’s Roads and Streets, which was convened by the think tank Centre for London, calls on the mayor to focus his efforts on developing a transport network around public transport, walking and cycling.
