EBIS-HSE announces virtual waste management training opportunities

The up-skilling specialist has confirmed five dates for its single day modules. 

Two individual courses are available, aimed at different levels of experience and responsibility. 

The Introduction to Waste Management module provides an overview of waste management principles, practices, and legal requirements in the UK, including variations between England/Wales/Scotland.

The course is designed for anyone new to waste management that has responsibility within an organisation or wishes to learn the fundamentals. This covers legal compliance, environmental requirements, practical application, and risk management. 

Newly appointed Waste Managers, Operations Managers, Sustainability Officers, Environmental Managers, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs professionals, and Facilities Managers are all invited to participate. 

Dates are: 

Fri 13th March 2026 – Virtual
Tue 17th March 2026 – Virtual

For those who have been working in organisational waste management roles already, a more advanced module is also available. Waste Management Law and Practice Update 2026 is designed to identify and analyse the latest legal obligations of all those managing waste from organisations and provides practical solutions for waste management practices in the light of new legal requirements.

Now in its 16th year, this module will ensure compliance with new regulations coming into effect this year – including Simpler Recycling, Extended Producer Responsibility, and the impact of a new Circular Economy Taskforce. 

Digital Waste Tracking also factors, a new system which enables real-time tracking of waste movement for improved transparency. This course content is aimed at professionals who have responsibility for overall organisational waste compliance are.
