The sixth annual event will return to Central London in early winter, with early bird tickets on sale now and the first speakers announced.
Hosted by Environment Journal‘s sister title, Air Quality News, the event will take place at Prospero House close to London Bridge.
Organisers have already unveiled details of the first three speakers. These include Rezina Chowdhury, Deputy Leader of Lambeth Council, member of Labour’s National Policy Forum and Vice Chair of London Councils’ Transport & Environment Committee.
Responsible for action on climate and the advancing ecological emergency, and sustainable mobility in the borough, she leads on the local Carbon Reduction Plan and transport strategy.
Nick Smith, Clean Air Fund UK’s Head of Portfolio, is also confirmed. Responsible for developing strategies and projects which look to safeguard cleaner air in Britain, he will also share insight from the National Citizen Service.
Finally, Nicola Pastore of Solve the School Run will be in attendance. Speaking for an organisation that wants to make walking to school safer on a daily basis, the parent led charity uses data insights and first hand accounts to help families and local authorities combat congestion and improve active travel experiences and infrastructure.
