The key purpose of this post is to support the Streetworks Team Leader in the delivery of the duties contained within the Traffic Management Act 2004, Highways Act 1980 and the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 to keep traffic moving and to minimise disruption.
This post will be responsible for a team of 4 Co-ordinators who manage and permit works on the public highway.
The support the implementation of Lane Rental schemes.
This post will be responsible for managing co-ordination of all programmes for works within the highway or that impact on the highway, in close liaison with colleagues in the Streetworks Team, the wider Highways Team, officers in other service areas, private bodies and statutory undertakers.
