IFA Berlin opens Friday 1st September, and will platform a number of new sustainable energy solutions.
Widely regarded as one of the world’s leading showcases for electronics, including home appliances, this year V-TAC will demonstrate a new line in Portable Power Stations which self-charge and can be used for a range of applications.
The technology can be seen as a substantial upgrade on existing power banks and portable battery chargers, offering up to 1000W of electricity. Unlike older designs, the mobile charge and power supply can be recharged by connecting foldable solar panels, meaning the devices become self-sufficient through the most abundant renewable energy source on the planet.
‘At V-TAC, we are driven by a vision of a sustainable future powered by clean energy. Our presence at IFA berlin underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient, and eco-friendly solutions to consumers and businesses alike,’ said Dinesh Sajnani, V-TAC CEO. ‘We believe that harnessing solar power is a pivotal step towards reducing our carbon footprint and achieving a greener planet.’
Portable Power Stations represent the latest in a growing list of off-grid energy and power solutions, with the need to plug-in at remote and temporary locations a significant challenge in net zero terms. This included powering technologies that are essential in conducting technical studies of land and environmental conditions, in turn facilitating work to improve ecosystem health through things like biodiversity gain. Meanwhile, many countries still have inconsistent and patchy grid supplies, leaving swathes of their population reliant on battery power for everyday tasks.
