The Parks, Estates and Open Spaces Department have openings in its Park Ranger Team. This is an opportunity to be part of a busy front line team responsible for the cleanliness, security and general maintenance of all the Parks and Open Spaces owned by the Royal Borough of Greenwich. These roles require good customer care skills and involves regular contact with members of the public and working in partnership with park users, friends groups, event organisers and others, this is a challenging, yet rewarding position.

We are looking to recruit someone who takes pride in their work and wants to help the Royal Borough meet its commitment to providing quality services to enhance the environment.

The role involves patrolling parks on foot and carrying and lifting.

Knowledge of working in a similar public environment would be an advantage.

A clean full UK driving licence is required for this post.

Post holders will be required to work a shift pattern across seven days from dawn till dusk.
