As Director of Public Health, you’ll be the driving force behind better health and wellbeing in our Borough. You’ll target health inequalities with a relentless improvement drive. You’ll build on our excellent relationships with NHS partners and other key agencies, as well as with the people of Enfield. Together, you’ll come up with innovative solutions to deliver better health for all. You’ll also work with Public Health England to combat threats such as health hazards and infectious diseases.

You’ll be our principal adviser on health matters, but just as importantly, provide strategic leadership of the integration of public health functions and outcomes into all aspects of the Council’s work, including regeneration and economic development, through a health in all policies approach.This demanding, varied and interesting role requires a person experienced in leading the agenda to improve the health and wellbeing of residents, reducing inequalities in health outcomes and protecting local communities from public health hazards.
